The Miflex Carbon HD High Pressure Gauge Hose Aimed for the Divers & Dive Centres, who use hoses every day with different divers and different configurations, and for divers who perform expeditions where the contact with rocks and wrecks is more frequent, Miflex offers the Carbon HD high pressure gauge hose, with a larger outside diameter, electroless nickel plated fittings and viton o-ring. Miflex Carbon HD high pressure gauge hoses are manufactured in accordance to EN250 standard and supplied to many majour diving brands around the world. As the name suggest these are Carbon Black in colour These hoses will be fitted with 7/16Ò€³ fittings as standard and are available in a range of sizes. Review: Exactly what I expected and needed. I just don't like the idea of it the AI sticking directly off the side of the first stage. It could be used by a dive helper as a handle or the AI could just break off if the tank drops over. This hose provides a proper solution. I am aware that putting in an extra hose is always adding in an extra failure point, so if your going to do it put in the best hose you can buy. That is why I chose MiFlex brand, it's painfully expensive but it's the best. Just make sure you pick up a "High Pressure Swivel Spool" adapter. If you don't have that the air will be leaking out around the AI unit.
