Always works. It’s great! They seem to work perfectly, but I did have to trim one of them down because they are off just a little bit. But not so much that it made a big deal or a big difference. It would be nice if they were a little more helpful with telling you where to put each one of them they kind of just say starting in the left with one and work your way around, but they don’t really lineup completely. One of my main worries was with all the brand-name propaganda being spread, with tales of monitors falling off randomly because I didn't pay exorbitant pricing. That became a new fear of mine but I took a shot anyway - because being cheap will always be a higher priority than falling for marketing (doesn't always work out). This time it worked out. Removing the original screen tape was a slight challenge, I have never opened an iMac before - but it was straightforward enough and I did it. I finished all the work I had to do inside the machine and taped it back up with these bad boys. They are STICKY.But once I got it all plugged back in and fired up I realized I left a pretty important thing unplugged - and I had to open it back up. I never want to experience that again. This tape is so hard to carefully cut - not my plastic pizza cutter tool, no my metal opening tool could do it alone. It took proper effort and was scary as heck. So I decided to write a review because most people here only have experience with one dimension of this product. I have seen both sides.
