No profit would be made **Q: I have my large condenser microphone, with a shock mount, on a boom that's extended out about 80%. Will this reflection filter work with a boom?** A: Just guessing, but I'd think that unless you have a very heavy base on the boom, the filter would cause the boom to "capsize". I have only used this with a desktop mic stand with a heavy base. You might want to look into other products to accomplish minimizing reflections/room noise. Eyeball, for example? **Q: Is it true that all of these are shipped with Euro mic adapters and US adapters have to be ordered sep? If this is the case, how much are the US adapt** A: The adapters are dual with the one that was shipped to me, so the threads fit inside one another. Just take a penny and back out the screw and the two different adapters will separate. Like a "pipe" within a "pipe" if that makes sense. **Q: what mic can fit this?** A: Just about any mic will fit. Im just getting into recordings and noted there was a bit of echo to the things i had recorded. This works so well to clear those echoes out and give a nice flattened uncoloured response.I would suggest make sure you have a sturdy enough stand. I've got an old £20 mic stand that seems to be falling over under it's weight. It's holding up well but I think it's beginning to lean.It should fit most mic stands comfortably. It's quite a fiddle to get setup with washes and bits of plastic that fly off. It has a quality feel and looks to match! Used this once, couldn't then use the audio recorded as it sounded like I'd put the microphone in a plastic bucket, and then the bucket over my head. This by the way was in a treated recording room.
