A: I believe it does work as the m classic has a retro option so it'll most likely enhance the clarity but not much else.

A: If you are running an older gaming system, you will want to get an upscale. That is if you want as close to HDMI as you can get.

A: I have this exact same issue. I only want this device to capture xbox gameplay. The audio is awful. Gonna try a component to hdmi adapter since I have my xbox component cables and they worked fine on a TV i have that still has hookups for it.
