**Q: Will this fan work with a dimmer switch? I want to be able to adjust manually.  Thanks**
A: As you know you have to solder the wire from the fan to a 5v converter that runs on 120v, then you can plug it into a dimmer switch, as that is what I use.

**Q: What is the acceptable voltage range for this fan? I like to use it in a boat application and voltage goes up to 14.8V when charging.**
A: Hello friends, the 9225 fan can work at 14.8V, but it works better under 13.8V and has a longer life. The ball bearing fan has a larger air volume .

**Q: Is this weather proof**
A: No, this fan is ment for dry applications.

**Q: Can I use any 12v dc plug in adapter? Or do I need one that only outputs .1 amp**
A: Yes you can use any 12v dc power supply, as long as it outputs more than .1 amp.  The .1 amp rating is the amount of current it uses.

I bought this to replace the garbage fan that was installed in a small space heater I bought on Amazon. The original fan started grinding within a month and completely seized up before making it through its first winter. I replaced it with this and now that this second winter is just about done I'm pleased to report this fan lasted all season with very heavy use in a very hot environment with zero issues. It is still as quiet as the day I installed it and honestly it's so quiet sometimes I forget it is running. I may get years out of the space heater now whereas without this the heater would have been useless junk.
