**Q: Is there padding in the butt area for biking?**
A: Yes, the G-Form Pro-X3 Bike Liner have a padded 4+ hour chamois to remain chafe-free.

**Q: What is the Difference between pro x3 and pro x?**
A: The Pro-X Shorts are a multi-sport protector where as the our Pro-X3 Shorts are bike specific. The Pro-X shorts have now been discontinued. 
Features of the Pro-X3 Compression Shorts include Ventilated Smart Flex hip pads, 4 Hour Chamois, moisture-wicking UPF 50+ fabric, and a handy side leg pocket. 

Since they were a multi-sport short, the Pro-X have a hip pad and a tailbone pad, but do not padded chamois.

I had a nasty mtb crash last summer, was suffering from road rash and major bruising for 8-9 weeks. And purchased this after the incident. About 800 miles so far (2-3 times riding per week).I dont notice it while riding. I wiped out last month on a rocky downhill. Landed on my hip and elbow (I had elbow guards from Dainise) No bruises or road rash, no pain. I guess it works.

I bought these for hip protection since I had a hip replacement in 2019 and don’t want to give up mountain biking.They work great for that but they also have a really comfy chamois (to me) and they fit great.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Have lasted for a solid season

Have used these for about1.5 years of solid BMX racing under my riding pants, fit a little tight so you may need to suck it in a bit when initially putting them on. Have gone down hard twice while wearing them and got right back up. They are flexible and allow full peddling sprints, could be used under riding shorts for MTB riding as well I imagine. I recommend these to younger and old if you are doing any sort of racing, mtb riding, or stunt riding, would probably work well snowboarding/skiing as well.
