Review: Excellent product and good customer service - Great for travel, very easy to put up. International delivery, arrived very speedily. Review: Great bang for the buck - 5 star at the price point. Straps could use additional loops to allow use of trees closer together. I think you spring for the double here even if you're a single unless you are small, a little more room is probably worth the extra couple ounces/dollars. Cheap aluminum stakes but again for the money, fine. Worked in light rain, did not have chance to evaluate under heavy conditions, suspect you need to get the rain fly really close to the hammock in severe condition. Like the 6-sided rain fly, seems like a good design that would minimize wind forces and gives 4 places to stake instead of 2. ## Features - Comfortable: Whether you're relaxing by the fire, sleeping under the stars, or just lounging around this winter camping season, our camping hammock has everything you need to stay comfy and covered throughout the night for your next camping, hiking, or beach trip -- even just lounging in your backyard & patio on a hammock stand! - Compact: Lightweight and convenient, our portable hammock weighs only 24oz and folds to the size of an eggplant. Single Hammock measures at 9 feet long by 4.5 feet wide for one person, and the Double Hammock measures 10 feet long by 6.5 feet wide for either two people or anyone who wants some extra space. Throw it in your backpack and go! - Easy Setup: Equipped with two 9ft long tree straps and carabiners, our hammocks for camping makes setting up a breeze. It also features 5 separate loops, so you can adjust it to the perfect height. Single hammock holds up to 400 lbs, while the Double Hammock holds up to 500 lbs - Premium Quality: Built to last a lifetime, our camping hammocks for camping are crafted with soft yet strong parachute nylon and triple interlocking stitching, along with strong carabiners and tree friendly hammock straps. Our hammocks are machine washable - we recommend removing the carabiners first so you do not damage your washer. Then add a very small amount of soap, wash it on the gentle cycle with cold water and by itself; it is best to hang it to dry instead of putting it in the dryer - Camping Gifts: No matter the occasion, our camping hammock is a camping gear must have for the adventurer in your life. This is the perfect gift for all outdoor enthusiasts for upcoming camping trips, and a perfect gift for your camping adventures! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00ZZB0FB8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #105,573 in Sporting Goods ( See Top 100 in Sporting Goods ) #57 in Camping Hammocks #385 in Hammocks, Stands & Accessories | | Brand | Wise Owl Outfitters | | Brand Name | Wise Owl Outfitters | | Color | Orange & Grey | | Colour | Orange & Grey | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 49,897 Reviews | | Folded Size | 8 x 5 x 1 inches | | Included Components | 1 x Carry Bag with drawstring, 1 x Hammock Body 9 ft, 2 x D-Shaped Aluminum Carabiners, 2 x Talon Straps (9 ft each) | | Item Dimensions L x W | 2.74L x 1.37W Meters | | Item Weight | 16 Ounces | | Item weight | 16 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Wise Owl Outfitters | | Manufacturer Part Number | FBA_SO1OG | | Material | Nylon | | Material Type | Nylon | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 400 Pounds | | Minimum weight recommendation | 400 Pounds | | Model Number | FBA_SO1OG | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product dimensions | 2.74L x 1.37W Meters | | Seating Capacity | 1 | | UPC | 820103117647 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Wise Owl Outfitters - **Colour:** Orange & Grey - **Material:** Nylon - **Minimum weight recommendation:** 397 Pounds - **Product dimensions:** 2.74L x 1.37W Meters ## Images ![Wise Owl Outfitters Hammock for Camping Single & Double Hammocks - Gear For The Outdoors Backpacking Survival or Travel - Portable Lightweight Parachute Nylon SO Orange & Grey - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/815slPsdaZL.jpg) ![Wise Owl Outfitters Hammock for Camping Single & Double Hammocks - Gear For The Outdoors Backpacking Survival or Travel - Portable Lightweight Parachute Nylon SO Orange & Grey - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/817AY-9lLtL.jpg) ![Wise Owl Outfitters Hammock for Camping Single & Double Hammocks - Gear For The Outdoors Backpacking Survival or Travel - Portable Lightweight Parachute Nylon SO Orange & Grey - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81z8K0sNTZL.jpg) ![Wise Owl Outfitters Hammock for Camping Single & Double Hammocks - Gear For The Outdoors Backpacking Survival or Travel - Portable Lightweight Parachute Nylon SO Orange & Grey - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91yNlKbjrML.jpg) ![Wise Owl Outfitters Hammock for Camping Single & Double Hammocks - Gear For The Outdoors Backpacking Survival or Travel - Portable Lightweight Parachute Nylon SO Orange & Grey - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81snbtN3FqL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product and good customer service *by A***R on 30 December 2022* Great for travel, very easy to put up. I love this hammock so much I have purchased 3, one for myself and two as gifts. The first one I purchased is now almost 7 years old and has stood up to kids playing in it, weather, sun, bugs, washing, etc. They are light and sturdy and easy to hang and pack. They also work with metal hammock stands. The double hammock is the way to go. I highly recommend. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/278507897-wise-owl-outfitters-hammock-for-camping-single-and-double-hammocks](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/278507897-wise-owl-outfitters-hammock-for-camping-single-and-double-hammocks) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
