When I read reviews, it seemed that the bags with big spinny wheels biggest problem was wheels getting bent and coming off. The Pelican case wheels are sturdy -- I've dragged them over curbs, potholes, gravel, packed soil, and sand and the case is still going strong. In my opinion, Pelican cases are what you want to survive the hard knocks and protect your contents. They're not decorator cases by any means. And that's OK for me.
