I bought it for the transmitters and am not using the receivers at the moment. I use the relay switch receivers all over my backyard on a number of disparate lights and sound systems. I have one remote with ten buttons to integrate the yard, but it is not enough buttons anymore. I'm currently building a 20 button remote using two of the transmitters from this kit. A great solution that I prototyped and successfully tested.They draw about 20uA from a 12v battery until you depress a key.
