From the Manufacturer From tape and boxes to envelopes, the main focus is the use of post-consumer recycled paper Caremail Recycled Corrugated Boxes are made from durable 32 ECT (Edge Crush Test) corrugated cardboard. They contain 100% recycled fibers, 90% of which are post-consumer, and are fully recyclable. Caremail boxes help save trees and divert waste from landfills. These 32 lb. edge crush test boxes are available in many sizes--most in the folded format to help save space during storage. The Caremail 32 lb. edge crush test boxes are available in many sizes From tape and boxes to envelopes, wrap and box fill, the Caremail line is packed full of products. While each item has its own unique sustainability story, the main focus is the use of high post-consumer recycled paper in efforts to reduce energy, save water and minimize air pollution. Caremail is packed full of earth-conscious products that use 50-100% post- consumer recovered fiber. Why? Because recycled paper production consumes 65% less energy, uses 80% less water and creates 90% less air pollution than virgin paper production. In addition, the high post-consumer recycled content helps drive refuse out of waste streams and into new products. Plus, most CareMail items are recyclable and/or biodegradable and many can even be reused. They exceed CPG guidelines (EPA Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines) for using recycled content in the manufacture of new products. Office Recycling Tips Partner with your office supply vendor for sustainable practices. Most vendors offer a recycling program for printer and copier consumables such as fusers, toners and cartridges. Many office supplies are now manufactured with recycled content. Place recycling stations in convenient and accessible locations around the office and introduce a desk side recycling program. These two items could increase your recyclables and reduce your rubbish by as much as 50%. Create collection bins for the re-use of discarded or unwanted office supplies. Items such as paper clips, binders, pens and mechanical pencils can be used over and over again. Use scrap paper for note pads. Is your office planning an interior renovation? Items such as ceiling tiles and carpeting can now be recycled to make new products. Consider the total recycled content of the replacement carpeting and ceiling tiles, when making your selection. ## Features - Sturdy, brown, single-wall kraft construction for safe shipment, great for moving, shipping, and storage - 100% post-consumer recycled content: Exceeds the EPA's Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines (CPG) for products containing recycled materials - Recyclable with mixed corrugate - 12-pack of Extra Large size boxes - Shipping dimensions of bundle: 42.6" x 18.1" x 8.5" - Each assembled box measures 18" x 18" x 24" ## Images ![Caremail Recycled Shipping Boxes, Extra Large, 18" x 18" x 24", Brown, 12-Pack (1119265) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/414oNn+jwcL.jpg) ![Caremail Recycled Shipping Boxes, Extra Large, 18" x 18" x 24", Brown, 12-Pack (1119265) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41niPMBZaeL.jpg) ![Caremail Recycled Shipping Boxes, Extra Large, 18" x 18" x 24", Brown, 12-Pack (1119265) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51HqZ60bgzL.jpg) ![Caremail Recycled Shipping Boxes, Extra Large, 18" x 18" x 24", Brown, 12-Pack (1119265) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31dnxWuNTuL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Poor Quality, Covered in Graphics *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2015* These boxes are not nearly as high-quality as others I've ordered off Amazon. I have two main complaints about the product. My first complaint is that the boxes just aren't that sturdy. I can't recall the edge-crush test numbers off the top of my head, but these boxes feel flimsy and seem like they would be easily crushed under minimal weight. My second complaint is that the boxes are covered in print and graphics. Unlike the minimal printing (certification stamp, possibly manufacturer name) found on the bottom of your average shipping box, these boxes are covered in print and graphics on both the TOP and BOTTOM, and are not suitable for professional shipping purposes. Don't be deceived by the product photos on Amazon - the boxes I received have LARGE logos and texts on both the top and bottom sides.I've purchased the following identically sized boxes from Amazon in the past, and they are superior in every way:The Packaging Wholesalers 15 x 12 x 10 Inches Shipping Boxes, 25-Count (BS151210)http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CP35MWQASIN: B00CP35MWQ ### ⭐ One of the Worst Purchases of My Life *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2013* I'm a book collector, and recently used these 12 boxes to ship my book collection from San Francisco to Pennsylvania. 2-3 out of 12 of the boxes never made it. Out of the boxes that did make it, most of them were very heavily damaged. Most of the ones that arrived were broken at each of the 4 corners from the top down to the bottom. Almost every box was retaped by the post office that made it. In addition to being broken at the corners, some of them that arrived, arrived smashed. Some boxes made it with stuff missing because these broke in transit. Of the books that made it, some of the books were heavily damaged. All in all, I think I lost more than $1000 by using these boxes for the books. I cannot recommend them for heavy materials. These might be okay for lighter materials. I packed some lighter materials in one of the boxes and it made it ok. ### ⭐ Buy Packing/Shipping Boxes Elsewhere! *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2015* These boxes were very expensive for a 12 pack of small boxes 15" X 12" X 10" which I would accept if they were of good quality! First these boxes are very thin and I am concerned with using them for shipping my personal effects that can never be replaced! The actual cut around flaps are off and the sides that are glued are off /not lined making it impossible to have a good squared up box to tape open. And the boxes on each of the 4 corners are breaking/cracking open when I unfolded them to tape open! So I would suggest going to Home Depot and buy their slightly larger and Heavy Duty Small boxes instead and they are cheaper! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/28027408-caremail-recycled-shipping-boxes-extra-large-18-x-18-x](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/28027408-caremail-recycled-shipping-boxes-extra-large-18-x-18-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
