This replaced an AMD Wraith Fan, which was okay, but cost more than 3X what this is, and it did not keep the CPU as cool as this one. Now this fan can fit into smaller cases, but honestly, this is ideal for a full size PC case. I suspect that people who had space/room issues were working with a less than full size build, which if true: Yes, that could make putting this in a bear. But, this is quiet, fast and cools well and goes in easily in normal builds. What more could you ask for? Well, lights...yes, lights. But you can buy that with an upgrade. For simple cooling, this is great.

**Q: Does this come with thermal paste already applied?**
A: Mine did come with thermal paste on the cooler. However I always like to use my own.

**Q: Please confirm the product dimensions: 13.5 x 9.5 x 22.3 inches**
A: I'm not sure of the dimensions.  Another retailer lists the heatsink dimensions as 2.39" x 3.77" x 3.77"and the fan dimensions as 0.98" x 3.62" x 3.62" (sorry it's not metric).   This heatsink fits perfectly on my Intel BOXDH77EB motherboard.  My case is a Silverstone ML03.  I actually have two of these, same case, same motherboard.  They're quiet, have real metal screws and haven't given me any problems.

**Q: Will this work for hp 500-070 and what temperature can it go up to?**
A: It should. And as for the temps youll be getting it depends on a few factors like case and airflow and the cpu your using

**Q: Anyone know what those strips are on the heat sink that goes against the processor? Should they be taken off before pasting?**
A: Hello, that is correct. You must remove that film for proper performance. Failure to remove the plastic strip can cause properly after installation.

Really good cpu cooler, keeps my cpu at a good temp without issues. It's a bit on the loud side but if you can deal with it I'd say get it. Fan speeds are absolutely phenomenal so my cpu gets great performance & speeds. I have an AMD ryzen 7 2700x & it fits & works great.
