Is there more than just plastic beneath your fingers?** A: That is not true, the tangs penetrate the handle by well over two inches ! **Q: I broke a pair of regular household scissors cutting through cotton balls, harder than you’d think. Would the 8” scissors be able to do this task?** A: After seeing your question I got a cotton ball and cut right though it. So these scissors will do the job!! **Q: Could these cut a rug?** A: I know that they will cut carpet that was put in a boat. The carpet was very thick with tuff material. **Q: What would be the thickest items this scissors can go through? I see it says it's ideal for rope. What about branches or rubber? How thick?** A: No to branches but I have cut 1/4” rubber easily. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pair of scissors *by M***. on 22 September 2023* I can vouch for the quality and it’s uniqueness. Very durable, tough yet very functional. Justifies its high reviews. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Endlich was Robustes!!!! *by A***E on 30 April 2026* Also die Schere ist echt krass!!! Bin schon länger auf der Suche nach einer robusten Haushaltsschere gewesen, aber die Fiskars topt alles, da kriegt man wirklich ALLES klein 😉😉😉 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What amazing scissors *by M***N on 10 June 2022* What amazing scissors. I had the job of cutting down bristles on a door seal and I originally tried to use these heavy duty kitchen scissors but they performed terribly for the task. I was going to give up and thought maybe there were more heavy duty scissors out there that could cut through the thick bristles and these scissors were amazing. They cut the bristles so easily with very little effort in one pass most of the time. They were pretty comfortable to hold. I have very small hands for a guy but I found these very comfortable to use. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fiskars Pro PowerArc Shop Shears, Heavy Duty Stainless Steal Scissor, Industrial Grade Tool for Building and Construction, 10 in, Orange/Black - Fiskars All Purpose Scissors, High Performance Cutting, Stainless Steel Blades, Ergonomic and Comfort Handles, Perfect for Arts and Crafts and the Office, Scissors for Office - Fiskars 8” Original Orange-Handled Stainless Steel Scissors, Ergonomic and Keeps Material Flat, Sharp All-Purpose Paper and Fabric Scissors for Office, Arts, and Crafts --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/281904998-710150-1001-powerarc-shears-10-inch](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/281904998-710150-1001-powerarc-shears-10-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
