This is one of the more inexpensive auto-feeders available on amazon. However, it's been running well for over 6 months and I have very few complaints. It worked for vacation feeding, none of my fish or turtles died, and that's really all I can ask from an auto-feeder! I use a combination of flake, crumbles, and even some turtle pellets, and the 'large' setting handles it all fine.Pros:multiple options for amount of food deliveredmultiple feeding timesmanual feed option (useful to test amount of food delivered)able to handle small round pellet food AND/OR flakes. (though not ideal, can occasionally jam the feeder.
