Review: Five Stars - Work Great , 1 month installed Review: Great light, a few design issues - I bought a set of these lights to use as Amber warning lights (plowing snow/general safety). I bought 2 of the surface mount, and 2 of the under mirror mount. The lights themselves are solid, and of good construction. And operation wise they are extremely effective for their size. However, the disconnect plug for the light & it's flasher unit, as well as the flasher unit itself, is NOT weatherproof. The lead is only 6-8" long, so that means no matter where you locate the light the flasher u it better be in a dry place only 6-8" away from the light itself. I called Ohio Safety (guys I bought the lights from) and they said to put some silicone on the ends of the fkasher and it should be fine. They also reiterated that they would personally handle any warranty issues regarding possible water damage to the flasher. I went a step further and wrapped the entire flasher unit with heat-shrink tubing for as much weatherproofing as possible. All things considered I'm pleased with the lights.
