    Better Than Ever!!!

How gratifying to see a band continue to evolve in such a positive way.  This CD is such a rewarding step along the twisted path of Deerhoof's musical journey.  I wouldn't want to single out a particular song. Every song is great, all are different, butall are so clearly identifiable as Deerhoof.  Totally genre-defying, touching, delightful, exciting and fresh.  Everyone in the band makes such a unique and vital contribution to the Deerhoof sound.  I had the great pleasure of hearing them live recently in NYC, and they totally blew the roof off the place.  I would be remiss, however, in not making special mention of Greg Saunier, undoubtedly one of the finest rock drummers alive today.... plus he has a fantastic sining voice, which perfectly complements Satomi's vocals.  If you want to hear the sound of a band constantly challenging itself, reinvigorating itself, and inviting the audience to come along for the wild ride, GRAB THIS!!!!
