The UnoProLogic has evolved over time. Originally the board included the EPM570 (MAX II). In 2015 we switched to 5M570 to take advantage of the better technology. At that time we also included the FT2232HQ USB to Serial chip and a four channel ADC. The USB to Serial chip is a dual channel device. One channel provides an eight bit bi-directional data path between CPLD and Host PC. The second channel provides a JTAG programming path to the CPLD. The CPLD is programmed directly from Quartus Prime Lite v18.1.
