Bugs In My Hair?! Paperback – Picture Book, March 1, 2010

When my daughter got lice,she was embaresed and was worried that her friends might find out.While at the hair salon our hair dresser handed Abby this book to read, thats all it took to make her feel better. Sometimes as parents we struggle to expain things like LICE, that it is just one of those things that happen. Sometimes someone else can tell the story different. I just loved the book it was funny and so true. Wether your child has lice or just wants to read a silly book it was a true joy to read. Highly reccomend this book for all kids , young & old , we can all use a good laugh now and then.

We run a Lice Clinic of America and have this book on hand for the kids to read while getting deloused and they LOVE it. It is a cute book and makes the whole process better.

i am a school nurse. I bought this book for a kindergarten class after a lice outbreak. It was a great book to read to them.

It's amazing that a book about head lice can be so entertaining; that is, both serious and light-hearted. The author puts children at ease about getting and getting rid of lice. The book is rather short (10 minutes), and the great illustrations large enough to be enjoyed as a read-aloud, too. Such a funny book !! Just wonderful information for kids. I enjoyed reading it to my kids and would highly recommend. I learn something new as an adult and would share this book in the moment of crisis. We don't have the lice yet but now my girls are prepared.
