Review: Great starter axe. Avoid cheaper brands that never stick - I bought the best non WATL (JXE JXO Throwing Axes ) and they're garbage. Too light to ever stick. I have 4 WATL axes. This one seem heavier (which makes it easier to stick) and the handle is so strong, I always throw this axe first. If a later axe throw hits the handle, it glances off. I've put deep cuts into my axes with wooden handles when a subsequent throw hits the handle.
Review: Would buy again - I've had this for almost a year now and it has held up great. Easy to throw and stick in the Target. It isn't overly heavy either.

A: These glued fiberglass handles can last potentially for years and will certainly outlive wooden handled axes

**Q: Can the handle be cut down?**
A: I'm guessing they need to update their info... Current instructions say: 🎯17" Straight Handle: Our handles are built long by design. I bought the best non WATL (JXE JXO Throwing Axes ) and they're garbage. Too light to ever stick. I have 4 WATL axes.
