First of all, the color is fantastic. It matches the dark wooden beams in our house and fits with the decor in the living room. It does not look like an outdoor bench in my opinion, it can work inside just fine.Second, I was able to install this all on my own, and I struggle to assemble things sometimes. I didn’t need any fancy tools, I just followed the directions and slapped some things into place (literally slapped it with my hand to get it into position).Third, our cats love it as a sitting area next to the dining room table, and they can look out the window by the front door. We add a cushion on the seat for them, and open the curtains. I could see dogs enjoying that just the same.Finally, and most importantly: it’s fantastic for storage! I will say, it does not look sturdy enough to hold super heavy items. The plank at the bottom is not solid hard plastic, it is light weight and seemed like it might bend or give away if we put something heavy inside. I keep reusable grocery bags in there along with blankets and pillows and it works great for us.
