Simply push the tube into the soft attachment to start shaking. Shaking stops as soon as you lift out the test tube. Full containers of 50mL can be activated for mixing within 5 seconds! The unit operates at a fixed speed of 3,000 rpm with an orbital diameter of 5.5 mm. Remarkably small footprint – just 4 inch diameter – and compact structure are perfect for the limited spaces of bench tops and fume hoods. It also has patented foot pads that keep the petite unit firmly in place while mixing. Its power supply meets CE, cULus, CCC, SAA, FCC and GS standards. Weight is just 0.55kg. Review: Buy this one... don't cheap out on a lesser item - I'm a miniature painter and I bought a cheaper vortex mixer thinking that I don't really need an expensive version. I was very wrong. The switch mechanism in the cheaper version broke so that it never shut off, so I had to unplug it after each use. Also, the cheaper unit doesn't shake enough to mix up some of my thicker paints or paints that had been sitting for a long time. I finally broke down and bought this mixer. This model is obviously more expensive, but the difference in quality is immediately apparent. The motor is much more robust and shakes my paint bottles very thoroughly, regardless of how thick or old they are. It also has a smaller footprint than the cheaper model, slightly less than 4" in diameter. It also stays in place when being used; it doesn't "walk" across the table. The durability remains to be seen as I've only used it a few days, but it mixes small paint bottles very thoroughly. Even the most stubborn paints only take 20 seconds to mix at most. This type of item is certainly a luxury, but it works beautifully. Strongly recommend. Review: Great little device - I should have bought this ages ago it works really well. Hard to mix small bottles of soap colorants. Game changer. ## Features - Touch function for 3,000 rpm fixed - Orbit 5.5mm - Compact size - only100mm Dia x 78mm H - Universal voltage 100 – 240 V AC, 50 – 60 Hz ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 859 Reviews | ## Images ![LabGenius MI0101001 Mini-Vortex Mixer, Blue(Top)/Clear(Body) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719mUSaJwnL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: if using this nail polish will it sit alone or do you have to hold the bottle ? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little device *by V***C on August 27, 2026* I should have bought this ages ago it works really well. Hard to mix small bottles of soap colorants. Game changer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mix that paint *by J***K on July 10, 2023* Like many others, I picked this up for mixing paints for hobbying/miniature painting. For this, it's flawless. The unit is heavy, sturdy, and with the rubberized feet won't jump around your desk. It accepts any size/shape bottle I've thrown at it and handles the usual suspects very well. Citadel pots sit flush and mix flawlessly. Throw that chunky Corax white on get it nice and smooth. There is no overlooking the fact that this is expensive... However, once it has a place on your desk, you'll wonder how you ever lived with out. Tossing a paint on the mixer for 10 seconds and having your paint perfectly mixed is just too nice to ever go back to the endless shake weighting of paint bottles. My one gripe - the power source is large and awkward, taking up too much space on a power strip. Overall, a pretty minor inconvenience that doesn't take away from the fact that it does exactly what you'd want it to and seems to be fairly indestructible. ## Frequently Bought Together - LabGenius MI0101001 Mini-Vortex Mixer, Blue(Top)/Clear(Body) - Jo Sonja Brush Soap & Conditioner 8oz - Keystone 121 Pcs Sanding Twigs Kit Ideal for Woodworking, Sanding Sticks for Plastic Models, Arts, Crafts, Assorted Mixed Grit Abrasive Polishing Sticks for Wood, Metal, Plastic (121 Piece Detail Kit) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/28470642-labgenius-mi0101001-mini-vortex-mixer-blue-top-clear-body](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/28470642-labgenius-mi0101001-mini-vortex-mixer-blue-top-clear-body) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
