These are built for the narrow side of a 2x4 or 2x6 bunk. There is a different model for bunkboards that lay flat. They are super slick, and appear very durable. Leave your winch strap or turnbuckle attached until right before the water. These things are so slick, some boats may slide right off, if you stop too suddenly on the ramp. The will not hold dirt, like carpet, scratching your hull. They do not need to be dunked to slick them up, like carpet. They will not hold water against your bunks, like carpet, thereby extending the life of your bunkboard life. They can be installed over carpet, but then you're still holding water against wood. If you don't like the look of the bare wood, paint it. I doubt these are any better than any other brand of similar glides, they all seem to be made of similar materials, I chose these based upon price. Some kits offer an end piece that laps over the back end of your bunkboard, kind of like an "L" shape, you don't need it. If you are loading properly, your boat doesn't touch the end of the bunk until you're all the way on, or maybe even when you start to pull out. If it does, then you're not backing down deep enough, causing excess strain on your trailer, hull, and powertrain. You're also using way too much power, causing excess damage to the end of the boat ramp. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Included screws are too short *by E***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2023* Makes loading and unloading the boat onto the trailer much easier.
