## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the 400 amp rating,  operating amp or max interval?**
A: If you read the specs you will see that operating is 200 amps and start surge is 1000 amps

**Q: Can it be used on a car?**
A: Can you use done anything with 12 or 24 volt

**Q: Why does the stated Caution statement say only attach to the negative side of the battery? Are these not safe for the load side for heat or something?**
A: Less chance of arcing unless there is a draw !  Negative works well either way breaking the cycle on neg or positive will stop the draw

**Q: Can the key be removed when switch is in the "on" position?**
A: No  Key locks in

This master switch works well but the keys are made cheaply and there’s a bit of wiggle room in the locked position, they work though, and for a good price.
