Great for travel
I bought this so I could have a really small package when I travel, be it with the family, or go by bike, or on a business trip. The rod is fine, has caught a lot of fish, casts easy and is really super small, so it can even go into carry-on luggage. While as a 6wt it is quite overpowered for a lot situation, a travel rod like this is always a compromise, especially if you go to places where you don't know what to expect.

Very nice rod, but description is misleading
Ordered the 6wt at £80 but that includes the description 'And Solid Machined Aluminum Reel' .... it doesn't. Looks like you have to order the combo version. I was going to send it back but on examination liked the rod so have ordered a reel. It came in a well made carry tube, very light. Intended for general fly fishing usage but very portable and although in 7 sections still feels good.
