Once the color embedded in the page has be "activated" with a wet paintbrush, the color will remain showing on the picture. We have other activities that are reusable, but these are super-fun! **Q: just received this order and was wondering why I can't separate the pads?** A: don't know **Q: Is the paint non toxic?** A: My son broke out in a rash from this paint. Do not recommend **Q: Do these paint books come with brushes??** A: Yes, each of the three books came individually wrapped in plastic with a brush in each. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for young ages *by on Reviewed in the United States June 23, 2026* My niece and nephews love to do art stuff. They are 2,3 and 5. This is perfect for them. They are smaller but that is OK. The drawings are not small and I tricare so it works great for young ages. There is also several different watercolor books so they do not need to share. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Family fun without a lot of mess *by on Reviewed in the United States June 24, 2026* My littles and I have a great time painting these pages. I don't have to worry about getting paint everywhere when we use this! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It actually turns into paint when wet *by on Reviewed in the United States September 18, 2025* These are so fun. I wasn't sure about them when we opened them because they look like a page that's so colorful its already colored but its so neat because when you add the water the colors on it blend to make it look just like water colors. Do keep in mind it is like water color when wet and may possibly stain. I would recommend painting in a surface that you dont care if it gets ruined. You can see in the picture i posted where it has been painted and where it hasnt. ## Frequently Bought Together - Melissa & Doug My First Paint With Water Activity Books Set - Animals, Vehicles, and Pirates - FSC Certified - Melissa & Doug My First Paint With Water Art Pad - Cheerleaders, Flowers, Fairies, and More (24 Pages) - ArtCreativity 4 Pack Mini Paint with Water Books for Kids - Total of 96 Pages -Mess Free Coloring for Toddlers -Water Coloring Books Mess Free Painting -Water Painting Books for Kids 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8+ --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/28617520-melissa-and-doug-my-first-paint-with-water-activity-books](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/28617520-melissa-and-doug-my-first-paint-with-water-activity-books) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
