A: This is yeast nutrient. You are looking for brewers yeast not just nutrient. I would recommend an 11g packet of Fermentis Safale US-05 or Safale S-04

**Q: can i freeze the unused portion?**
A: Really not sure.  My thoughts are that you can freeze bread yeast, so I expect that you can freeze wine yeast.

**Q: how many grams of yeast nutrients  to use  in 5gallon?**
A: 20 grams would be 5 tsp. You would use 1 tsp per gallon.

**Q: Is this gluten free?**
A: I’m not sure
