So cute, looks great in my house - most people don't know what it is at first. I have two cats and bought this as a second box for upstairs. I love the idea of the one-way design! The entire top panel is a mesh setup so that the loose littler falls off paws after exiting from top and back into the box not onto the floor. Doesn't stop all of the litter, but stops most of it!I bought the bigger size, and I think I will move it downstairs and get one of the smaller ones to use upstairs. I don't always pull the tray right out - you have to be mindful of how litter may be pilled up first or you will get spillage. Sometimes I just go in the top with the scoop. Monthly I take it outside with the hose. I don't use the included scoop but the little brush is good for spot cleaning the top.Good solid construction - this one does not fall apart like many of them online do - snaps together nice and tight, made of heavy plastic. The top will never pop off of it while cat is exiting from the top. You can make the door one-way or leave swing free like a normal box. I let my cats play in it for a while to get used to the one-way circuit before I added the litter. Great litter box - I will buy another smaller one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice and sturdy and perfect for a large cat. *by on Reviewed in the United States February 15, 2026* Very nice size and extra sturdy. Would be helpful if there was an optional "door" for the top window. My cat is very large and got stuck trying to go out the top. Would also be nice if it came with a hanger for the little brush like it has for the litter scoop. Do not try and put a little bag in the drawer as it gets caught in the rails. Overall, I would buy it again! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Large version not adaptable to swinging two directions. *by on Reviewed in the United States January 1, 2026* I purchased the large version of this litter box. I liked the idea of forcing them to go out the top, but as my cat is still a kitten, we started with the door off so he could learn good habits. I had thought, based on the reviews and the AI overview, that I might be able to adapt the door to swing both ways, which I thought would be helpful when he was first learning the door. However, the large is NOT adaptable that way. It appears that the XL version is, in the photos, I see a small plastic piece that is removed in some photos and included in others. The large version has tabs molded on the bottom of the door; the only way to make it a two-way door would be to find a way to cut them off permanently. Why the two sizes would be made differently, I have no idea. Unfortunately, my cat is still not tall enough to get out the top, so I still don't know if this will work for him with the door on. I think it's an attractive litter box and easy to clean, which is why I'm giving it four stars, but I'm regretting my purchase now as I have a dog I'd like to keep out of the box and can't use the door for this purpose right now. I'd originally thought I'd get this same box for downstairs, too, but the XL won't fit where I want to put this, and I don't want to buy another one, still not knowing if it will work. This isn't a bad idea, but not making the door adaptable means that you buy at your own risk. Hoping your cat is happy with this type of arrangement. I think there are similar boxes that will swing either one way or two if you might need that. ## Frequently Bought Together - Foldable Cat Litter Box with Lid, Enclosed Cat Potty, Top Entry Anti-Splashing Cat Toilet, Easy to Clean Including Cat Litter Scoop and 2-1 Cleaning Brush (Grey) Large - Pieviev Cat Litter Mat Double Layer Waterproof Urine Proof Trapping Mat 1 Pack (Gray, 24x15 Inch (Pack of 1)) - Veken 95oz/2.8L Pet Fountain, Automatic Cat Water Fountain Dog Water Dispenser with Replacement Filters for Cats, Dogs, Multiple Pets (Grey, Plastic) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/286420402-foldable-cat-litter-box-with-lid-enclosed-potty-large-top](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/286420402-foldable-cat-litter-box-with-lid-enclosed-potty-large-top) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
