Because it is a thick oily substance, you don't need much of it at all. I put it on at night after cleaning my face, and it feels so good and makes my skin healthy and helps against dry skin. When I remember to, I use it as a undereye moisturizer during the day. The smell of roses is fresh and natural, and reminds me of a beloved family member. I probably use more at night than others would, about two pea sizes, because my skin is combination with a tendency to lean towards dryness. Mature skin at the age of 51, and it's sensitive to most facial products. I love that it comes in a glass jar and the ingredients are natural and organic. I've been using it for just over a month now and the jar is still about halfway full. Another plus is it's made in the USA.
