Simply because it mixes so well; even with a shaker and water the taste is still better than anything I have ever tasted as simple as it is. For me I don't taste any grittiness at all and I can actually taste the Cappuccino flavour! Unlike some other brands I've tasted that does not taste anything like they say it would. It's just a very high quality protein powder hence why the high price but personally I think it's worth it for the quality!
