My office desk is not adjustable and is connected to my cubemates' desks, so I could not simply make my desk higher. Being able to prop something up on my desk also makes it easier to alternate between sitting and standing. After struggling for awhile with the settings to get it to a height that was comfortable without it leaning/falling one way while also supporting my clunky work laptop, it's worked pretty well for this. Its lightweight design makes it easy to prop up and take down if I need more space on my desk while sitting down, etc. However, it is not the sturdiest - while I am not afraid of my laptop falling or anything, there's definitely a bit of small yet constant back-and-forth movement while I type. For the price, and for how I've wished to do the standing desk set-up, I'll take it for now. Trying to eye-ball the angles will lead you to frustration.
