**Q: Does this come with the separate base or does footed base mean something different? No base is shown in the photos**
A: The base is the container under the lid as shown

**Q: What kind of plastic is it made of?**
A: polypropylene

**Q: is there a drain hose? Or does the water that comes off of the greens sit in the bottom of the container and then get poured off?  Thanks**
A: There is no hose, the water drains out of a hole at the bottom edge

**Q: could this be driven with a hand drill?**
A: We do not recommend attaching a drill, the speed may be too much for the plastic gear system inside.  However, Dynamic makes the same type of 5 gal spinner with a motorized head, model EM 98. It sells for about $650.
