Yes, beetroot powder has a slight sweetness to it, this has literally NO taste whatsoever, I did wonder about the very dark red colour when I decided to buy it, but thought there different beetroots. This is not worth the money, have never seen a beetroot, as again there is no taste of beetroot whatsoever. You might be better off with some sugar and colouring.
