Which clr product would you recommend?** A: We do not recommend using any of our products, effective in dissolving mineral deposits, on hoses as the chemicals effective in dissolving minerals are not compatible with the material of hoses (usually rubber or plastics). It is NOT a drain cleaner per se, no 15 minutes and all clear. It breaks down organic material -- hair, soap, toothpaste over a period of a few days. I poured it in at bedtime since it needs to sit untouched for about 8 hours. It took about 4 days, but it was all clear and my bathroom sink drains like a charm. So remember, it's not a 15 minute wonder like Drano or anything, it takes time.
