The difference while climbing is almost imperceptible but it definitely makes a difference on the very hardest of climbs or steep features. Just that little extra bit I needed to grid it out and not hike-a-bike. Thanks! ### ⭐⭐ only for grannys... literally :-( *by S***3 on Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2020* This chainring is too small and will bend as soon as you accidentally cross your chain into the high end of the cassette. When that happens you'll get dreaded "chainsuck" and need to bend the ring back with pliers. If you're looking for a lower granny gear get a cassette with more teeth in the large cog instead. You'll save yourself a lot of frustration.
