When fully seated, they stick up above the rim of the glass funnel by about a half inch (~1 cm). Hope this helps. **Q: Where is this product made?** A: This product is made in Japan **Q: How much coffe does it make?** A: Depends on your recipe. The maximum water it can hold at the top is around 250ml but you can open the switch for the water to flow down.
