For the small base model Ultra you can buy tubing on the official Waterpik website for $20/with shipping or on Amazon for $12. I didn't find a tub replacement for this model anywhere. This means, that after two to three years tubing will brake, and its time to buy a new machine ( one person in his/her review already mentioned this fact) **Q: Can you turn the empty resevoir over on top of the unit to protect both from accumulating dirt dust and debris like the 20-30 year old ones?** A: Yes, But I find it is very important to keep it open to dry completely first I usually invert the reservoir and prop it on the machine so it dries I also hold the machine up when I’m done to drain water out of tubing, and remove tip after use. I would b more worried about mold if wet than dust **Q: does it work well with crowns?** A: Yes, I bought this to take care of my root canal+crown. My hygienist told me that my old flossing go to, Plackers, would eventually loosen the crown because of the pulling up motion. I hate using standard floss, so I got this. With how much the restoration cost, this device to make it last longer was well worth it. **Q: Does this waterpik classic professional water flosser ever get mold build up inside the pik as mentioned on the waterpik ultra water flosser? thanks** A: I had my old one for almost two years, I live in a humid climate where mold is usually a problem. I haven't had a problem with mold in this Waterpik. I do use it at night, leave the cover off over night for it to air dry, then replace the cover during the day to keep dust off of it.
