## Description

Victor Snake-A-Way Snake Repelling Granules effectively drive off garter snakes, rattlesnakes and other snake species from areas they are not wanted. This granular snake repellent can be applied around the perimeter of the area you want to protect, including residential yards, parks, businesses and livestock areas. Snake-A-Way is detected by the snake’s Jacobson’s Organ (an additional olfactory sense organ) and disrupts its usage, causing the snake to slither away in search of fresh air. While wearing gloves, apply the granules to the perimeter of the area that is to be protected. Lay down bands 4 to 5 inches wide to repel garter snakes and 8 to 12 inches wide to repel rattlers. For yard application, sprinkle Snake-A-Way throughout the area within the perimeter. When odor becomes faint, reapply. The formula contains naphthalene (7%) and sulfur (28%) as its active ingredients.

I sprinkled this around the fenced area and have not seen the snakes since. I put this down every year to ensure the snakes do not come back. Has strong odor but it works amazing. I also put a barrier around the house as well to keep them away.

A: Tests of this product have suggested that it can be an effective deterrent for the types of snakes listed above. While the product might deter other types of snakes as well, it is not expected to consistently repel snakes of the following types: corn snakes and other rat snakes (Genus Elaphe); and “moccasin” snakes such as cottonmouths and copperheads (Genus Agkistrodon).

Highly recommend! Snakes LOVE to get in our swimming pool and around our house due to the ponds and fields however when I put this out I have no worries about snakes. It doesn't smell good but it is worth it to keep them away. Do not put out before rain or it will not last as long.
