Thanks!** A: I think the pot was made in Mexico **Q: So the dimensions given above say 10.6 x 8.6 x 6 inches. Is the 10.6 the width with the handle, 8.6 without the handle and the 6" the bottom width?** A: The 10.6 is with the handle; the 8.6 is the top w/out handle; 6" is the height **Q: Can this be used to cook on a charcoal grill?** A: Yes. I don't see why not. Mine has been used on top of gas grill and was ok. Of course this pot should not be heated up when empty. **Q: Why do they say not to use on glass top stoves.** A: From my experience with using a granite ware pot with trying to boil water, the glass only heats up so much and turns off, it gradually gets up to temp, this would be to prevent the glass from cracking and breaking.
