## Description

Dry-Treat Stain-Proof Original is a premium impregnating sealer. It is specially formulated to provide long-term protection against water- and oil-based stains and damage. It also protects against efflorescence, freeze-thaw, and salt-spalling damage. Stain-Proof Original retains your surface's natural finish and color. This unique formula can be used on a variety of surfaces, including natural stone, tiles, pavers, concrete, brick, and grout. It works on basalt, bluestone, coral, granite, limestone, marble, porcelain, quartzite, saltillo, sandstone, slate, terracotta, terrazzo, travertine, and Victorian encaustic tile. This sealer is suitable for indoor, outdoor, residential, and commercial use. Use it for building facades, floors, walls, countertops, showers, poolsides, patios, garages, kitchens, and entertaining areas. Stain-Proof Original is super breathable, making it safer to use. It allows water vapors to escape freely, which prevents harmful moisture buildup inside the treated material. This powerful sealer is strong enough to withstand alkaline cleaners and pressure hosing. To use, make sure the target surface is dry and free of any residues. Then, generously apply Stain-Proof using a low-pressure hand sprayer, clean brush, or lamb wool applicator. Porous surfaces should have a mirrorlike wet look. Avoid contact with surrounding areas. Wait for approximately 10 minutes, then reapply the product before the surface dries. After the final coat, wait another 10 minutes and then polish the surface before it dries. Polish it with a clean, dry white cloth, towel, or similar material to remove excess product. We recommend moistening the cloth with Stain-Proof Original to ease polishing. Finally, use an organic solvent to clean equipment. Add Stain-Proof Original to your household or commercial cleaning supplies today.

Review: works well - I finally bit the bullet and steam cleaned about 900 square feet of tile/grout. By using a rolling dispenser bottle the sealer went on easily. I rolled it on in sections so by the time I was done doing that I could go back and wipe it down with a clean white rag. The grout was several years past needing maintenance but looks like new now! Time will tell if it helps protect against stains and grime.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it work on travertine? I didn't see travertine listed on the stones it's made for.**
A: Sorry but my experience is not good. I spent 2 days properly applying 2 coats to travertine tiles around our pool. The protection lasted for about 8 weeks only. Very disappointed. I think Stain Proof is a big waste of money and as others have said the company do not stand behind their products. Never again!

**Q: How much area does it cover? How many linear feet of grout does it cover?**
A: Depending on what you are sealing, the average coverage on a typical seal is 70sqft. Per quart.On grout sealing, again depending on the size and depth of the grout joint, we've gotten about 250 sqft out of 1 quart.

**Q: is it good for a quartz counter top or is a less expensive sealer just as good?**
A: For quartz, I would recommend the Stainproof Plus. This sealer will actually penetrate quartz which is non-pourus while other sealers will not. Most quartz manufacturers advertise that quartz does not need to be sealed but we have seen some quartz products that do in fact stain. Some more than others.

**Q: What is the difference between stain proof and stain proof plus? Dallas**
A: Stain Proof plus is designed to penetrate the most dense natural stones, such as granites and quartzite. It contains an even higher amount of sealing protection over the original stain proof sealer.The stain proof plus is best designated for countertop use
