## Description

Groz drum level indicator is easy & cost effective means to check level of fluid remaining in a drum / tank. It has a planetary gear mechanism float connected with a string that moves down as the liquid level goes down in the drum. It can be used with wide range of liquids including oil, fuel, water, coolants etc. Note that this is not a precise measuring device. Gauge is only to give an approximate / indicative level of liquid in the drum to know when to arrange for a new drum.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this still allow the drum to vent? And has anyone use this on the B side of closed cell foam(polyol resin)?**
A: Not really which is kinda stupid. We use it for our oil drums and always have issues with venting, eventually we just removed it because it was more trouble then it’s worth.

**Q: is the gauge water tight to be installed in the utside ? I would hate to get condensation and not be able to read it....**
A: No It is not water tight.  Not for outdoor use.

**Q: where is it madE?**
A: Probably china

**Q: do you have a version that will fit on the 2'' port**
A: Check your 2” port cap, some of them have a 3/4” threaded hole in the middle. You’ll have to punch out or cut the hole, but this fit perfectly in mine. Note, I did buy and install a short 3/4” riser to allow the gauge to screw on snuggly onto the 2” cap.

I bought two of these and both broke the first day. My barrel is mounted on a tractor so the liquid is moving. This breaks the float. Also on the last one the clear cover fell off and the guts spilled out. Cheap China junk! I won't be waisting more money on another one.
