With the leaf down, it's very compact, and I've freed up a bunch of floor space.The shipping box was nearly as strong as the table itself, so it arrived without any damage. The only assembly required was to attach the legs, so it was just a matter of minutes from taking the table out of the box to having it put together and ready for use.It's a very sturdy, good looking table. Worth every penny.
