You need to put a little pressure on it, but it eventually goes under. So, for both front windows, I pealed off completely the sticker protection on the back end of the shade, I pealed off one inch at the front end, I stuck the back end to the car, I pushed the front lug under the black plastic window cover, I adjusted the position of the whole shade in the correct place holding it with one hand, and I pulled the sticker protective paper from the 1 inch piece I left out. The plastic seems to be strong, of good quality. I don't know how good the sticker is and for how long they will last, but I am very happy with my purchase as is so far.
