## Description

The massive infantry and armor invasion by North Korea into South Korea on June 25, 1950 marked the United States' Armed Forces return to combat after WWII. This sculpture depicts a US Army Infantry Sergeant engaging the enemy with an air-cooled browning .30 caliber machine gun. Details include an authentic US Army uniform and boots, Colt 45 ACP sidearm in a flap holster, and now famous boulder covered hills of the Korean Peninsula. GI Joe Military Metal Series-Holding the Line is 7 inches high and is one of the first sculptures in this series. It comes on a 6 ½ inch oval simulated wood base for easy display. Each includes a certificate of authenticity.
