It is NOT a wireless booster. **Q: How do you know your car isn’t getting a signal if the keys are shut inside the box in the house?....** A: I have a 2018 Honda. I put my keys in the faraday box, close the lid, make sure the clasp is on tight, go out to the car, slip my hand behind the driver side door handle and if the door does not unlock, then I know the key inside the box is not talking to the car. To test it, I put the keys in the box, close the lid but DO NOT close the clasp and the driver side door will unlock when I slip my hand behind the handle. **Q: Does this work with older fobs? I can fit plenty of car keys in it, as long as there's not a lot attached to them. 6 or more if it were just the keyfobs. It closes nicely and doesn't look out of place wherever you place it.
