I've only used sticks, so the resin is new to me.** A: Burns well, especially with powder incense. I have been burning incense for a while and burn resin with powder. You need to put the resin with another substance, like dried sage or some powder incense - perhaps some other dried herb could work too. It will then burn well. I have never burned resin by itself and I don't think it will burn well alone. Burning incense in a brass bowl or plate works well. Hopes this helps! =D **Q: How do you burn it** A: I place a piece in a small rock bowl on top of my woodstove. At lower temperatures it melts and releases the essential oils. At the heat increases it chars and sends up smoke. The rock bowl keeps it from making a mess on the woodstove. **Q: Can this be used in a Scentsy?** A: I don't think so. The Scentsy is a warmer.
