The conversational style of writing is so inapt for a mathematics based text where conception and diffusion of ideas must follow a logical pattern. The author paces through casually without any pedagogical precision. No structure, no emphasis on vantage points thus everything is a confusing spaghetti. Next time, Mr Sinclair please hire an Editor. It doesn't cost much!
