Easy to inflate, took about 2-3 min of blowing into it. Was comfortable enough not to cause any type of sore back which as a big guy was a concern I had going to the camp site.One downside is that I wish the regular size had more width. While on my back my elbows would hang over the edges and touch the ground. But I wound up buying a competitor model, which has been working well for me.Note: It's important to point out that selecting the right sleeping pad comes strongly down to individual preferences. Just because one person likes or does not like one model, means little to whether you will draw the same conclusion. Im 6'/250 and a side sleeper, and this thing is the cat's meow. I'm very broad shouldered, and I may be wanting the wide version went I get back, but all and in all, you can't beat the comfort this thing has.However, the real amazement is that it is truly featherweight. I'll be lugging a 40 pound pack and this thing is barely moving the scales.
