Maverick: A Dark & Dirty Sinners' MC Series, Book 6

OMG Serena Akeroyd I have know words it was absolutely fantastic book and As promised what an emotional rollercoaster ride it! I laughed, I cried, I loved maverick I hated him and loved him all over again! Loved the transition from ghost to Alessa - if anyone deserved to be happy it’s her! Giulia’s sass as always love her and her new posse! The ending OH MY GOD! Left me hanging on AGAIN!

I wasn’t expecting much from Maverick as a character, nor Alessa for that matter, I hadn’t felt anything for them in the previous Sinner’s books and just didn’t relate to them in any way. But oh my goodness! To have written about not one, but two, highly sensitive subjects and character backgrounds with such grace, detail and horror that we not only believe them as characters, but fall in love with, grow with and understand why they are the way they are, is sentiment to the skill and beauty of Serena’s writing and talent.This book is so beautifully and carefully written xx

Maverick is a story that breaks your heart and eventually mends it.Maverick is a military veteran who has been wheelchair bound for years, which we find out is related to severe PTSDAfter an explosion at the clubhouse he forgets his Ghost, Alessa, who he loves and married to keep her safe and in the country. Ghost has not had an easy life and is so strong and resilient recovering from being severely abused as a human trafficking victim who was saved by the MC.Ghost comes into her own and fights for Maverick and their love.  Her strength, determination and compassion pull them through the tunnel into the light. She is no longer a Ghost and comes into her own as Alessa.

I absolutely love all the Satan Sinners apart from the club bunnies lol, I've been looking forward to reading Mavericks story and wow!! What a story it is. I loved the way Ghost transformed to Alessa, The posse made me laugh. I think I cried reading this book a lot more than the previous ones! I laughed too, it was a very emotional rollercoaster. I love Serena Akeroyd and her books so much, but getting to the end of the book I didn't know whether to slap or hug her lol. That cliffhanger?? Yea I wanted to slap her but I will always love her.

The action continues as does the heartbreak , the re-affirmation of brotherhood and friendship as the possee of old ladies makes its debut. Maverick and Ghosts story is written so well I felt the heartbreak and cheered on their understanding of what love is ,what can be rescued from the aftermath of the bomb and the wreckage it caused both mental and physical. Loved it!

I have the whole set of these books and maverick is definitely in my top 3 favourite. It’s amazing from start to finish with amazing twists in the story, definitely 5 stars for all of these books. Can’t wait for the next one

Oh my this book has had my emotions up and down all the way through, I am so grateful for how this book ended though. Thank you Serena for your amazing books!
