Case and band have both matte and shiny parts, and light plays wonderfully with all the surfaces.Coated band is prone to scratches, after just two weeks it already shows some "war scars", so bear this in mind if you are the type of person that tends to be concerned about this.Seiko's 7S26 movement is not hackeable, but it's reliable.
