TevraPet FirstAct Plus for dogs kills fleas, flea eggs and larvae, and chewing lice. It kills all stages of ticks including those that may transmit Lyme disease, and aids in the control of sarcoptic mange. FirstAct Plus contains the same active ingredients (fipronil + (S)-methoprene) as Frontline Plus for dogs, but costs less. The waterproof formula continues working even after a swim or bath. The package includes three (3) applicators, each good for 1 month of protection. Apply this product monthly for up to three (3) months of protection for your pet and household. Review: This product worked for a while. I used it for one summer and it worked so bought it this year as well. First box worked. Bought another, and did not work. Not sure why it stopped working. My dog now has fleas that I need to figure out how to get rid of.

I have a 65 lb lab who loves being outdoors, lives in a carpeted apartment, and is consistently around my toddler. This makes out to be a perfect home for fleas, so I have to make sure he is always treated. I recommend this brand for the price, easy-to-use dispensers, and the quality of the product. The reason why I rated this 4/5 stars is because I had to use 2 months worth before I saw a difference with my dog. We knew he already had fleas, so we gave him a bath, used a flea comb, and treated him with this product. 2 months later, he stopped itching, and we couldn't find a single flea on him. I (like most people) have the misunderstanding that flea treatments are supposed to work ASAP. If they don't work right away, give them time. These aren't made to kill fleas overnight.

**Q: What is the difference between tevra ii and tevra pet**
A: tevra pet is generic for frontline ( fipronil ) while tevra ii is generic for agvantage ( imidacloprid )

**Q: Is there a money back guarantee on tevrapet first act plus?**
A: This is the only flea and tick medicine I use. If people wait until their dogs and house are flea infested it may not work as well but if you put this on monthly you won't have any issues. My dogs have yet to get a single flea or tick in the years we've been using this product. The reviews that claim this doesn't work are likely from people who haven't treated their house for fleas and just expect a topical to magically make fleas disappear

**Q: How long before you can repeat a doseof tevrapet when the dog still has fleas**
A: The instructions say 1x month but if your dog still has fleas they be getting exposed elsewhere, I had this same problem. I ended up having to buy stuff to spray in the house and yard to get rid of the eggs because my dog kept picking up new fleas outside. I use this every month now so that I don't have to worry about it going forward.

I am writing this because it's indeed the honest truth. No one ask me to or is paying me to just to be clear. First of all the packaging and application is excellent and super easy. I am sad to report that the medication did not work at all. I put it on waited 24 hrs...then 72 hrs and still fleas biting my 2 year old pug. He is scratching till he is bleeding. He is bloody red underneath and can't sleep. I wasted my money, effort and gave my buddy medicine that didn't work so essentially all for nothing. I want my money back but I got excited when the package arrived that I discarded the return paperwork. Why sell me something that doesn't work. At this point should I try giving him another application? I picking fleas as we speak. I have take out 20 fleas this morning, seven days since first application. My little guy still can't get any relief constantly biting himself. I hate to see him like this. I don't know what to do. I don't have any resources of any kind. I can't help him and that really bothers me. I thought I made the right purchase and I used my very last to make this order happen. I am on an extremely tight budget and don't know when I will be able to order another medicine for him.😢💔🐕☹️
