Terrific contrast used among shrubs or as a backdrop in a perennial bed. Foliage turns golden-russet in fall. Perennial. Landscapers love it. Review: Impressed especially for this time of year - I received these Dwarf Hameln grasses during 101 degree heat (Heat Dome). I wasn't looking forward to seeing them but proceeded to open. I was very surprised to see how healthy they arrived from the Daylily Nursery in TN. They were hand wrapped in Saran wrap, packed tightly in moist rich dirt and staked together with bamboo sticks. Some blades reach 20". I repotted in bigger containers until early Fall. Review: Happy planting - Grows fast. Really pretty. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00KEC1J72 | | Best Sellers Rank | #363,389 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #401 in Outdoor Freestanding Fountains #65,225 in Home Decorative Accessories | | Brand | Daylily Nursery | | Brand Name | Daylily Nursery | | Color | Golden-russet | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 129 Reviews | | Expected Blooming Period | Fall | | Expected Planting Period | Fall | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Daylily Nursery’s products have a five-day guarantee. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Happy planting *by K***N on January 19, 2026* Grows fast. Really pretty. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Healthy but not as large as expected. *by H***T on May 2, 2025* Plants were well packaged & arrived healthy. Pots were 1" smaller than advertised & not nearly as full as pictured. They will eventually grow so it's not too upsetting but this is the 3rd live plant purchase from 3 different nurseries, I've made on Amazon in a month & these were the most disappointing. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/30181397-3-hamlen-grass-in-4-inch-containers-dwarf-fountain-grass](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/30181397-3-hamlen-grass-in-4-inch-containers-dwarf-fountain-grass) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
